Exit Tomorrow

Contributed by tasteof_ink on Wednesday, 17th November 2004 @ 11:19:54 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Do you still see so clearly in my face?
The way you said you did the other day.
I'm not sure if we're okay.
My heart is burning from this pain.
Do you ever wonder why?
When you're alone and you cry.
Did you know i do the same?
These foolish games we choose to play.
I don't understand anything.
Atleast that's what he said before I left.
Now i'm here, and i miss him so much
I long for his touch..his touch..one more time..

It's not fair to want it all.
But what do you do when you're feeling so small.
You can't let go,but it hurts so much to hold onto.
And i don't know what to do...

So close your eyes, and I'll say goodbye.
This pain is too much for one life time.
I'm sorry for all the bad things i do...
I can't believe what I've done to you.

Yes, welcome. As with your other poem, this is very good. I agree with a_bear, we can sometimes be very lazy at replying. However, I'm trying to do three a night. lol.
Anyway, great write. Why all the guilt? Well, have fun at YDPC. peace

As to this poem, I enjoyed it, you have an awesome talent..espeicially for something just thrown together..to me it looks like a poem carefully composed over a few days or more.
Felt what you described..the sadness the tenderness the tears, a picture you did paint leaving its inprint in my mind..awesome poem.

Welcome to YPDC!!! :)
I really like this and I also have to say it is brilliant for something just thrown together. I would have also said this seems like it has been looked at for days. lol.
Stunning. (And not dull at all)
*hugs* Phil xxx
