This is the year that I fade away
The year that I'll become invisible
I can feel it in the air
So haunting, not quite tangible
I can sense it when I draw my breath
How it doesn't seem to fill my lungs
No, not like before
The space between my heart and my scars
Seems so empty

This is the year
This the year I will close my eyes
Let this pass me by
Attempt healing of these wounds
But fading away
Only brings more pain
My burning flesh
Sears my gaze
But this time,
I'll close my eyes
This year
I will fade away

I'm sorry..I'm sure you didn't mean this to be funny but I'm soooo happy tonight and this reminds me of an old sitcom I used to watch.."SOAP" a man thought he was invisable.. of course he wasn't.. it was hilarious though..
sorry..I hope you don't fade away and even thinking you might ...eww..must be horrid!
