Menacing in its passive manner.
I wander aimlessly,
yet am full of purpose.
The landscape is boundless,
Yet I can barely see the next step I am about to take.
Occasionally I come across something familiar,
A rock or a tree,
Sometimes a face,
But always it is swallowed by the mist
A pale ball of white hot flame burns
With the blinding light of realisation,
But is veiled by thick dark clouds of dependence.
I wander aimlessly
Yet am full of purpose.
Lost in the past,
Blind to the present,
Looking for the future.

Wow, this is just the poem I needed to read right now. I know exactly how you feel and it's torture isnt it...When your world moves so much that you never seem to get things right in your life. I love this poem, I hope you write more in the future like this. Good write.
