Desires Of A Killer

Contributed by pixie on Wednesday, 17th November 2004 @ 09:10:03 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Desires of a killer would chill your blood,
To your body they want to do harm not good,
They dream about cutting & slitting your skin,
Exposing your flesh & bones from deep within.

Their thoughts are filled with rotting flesh,
Of your pretty face they long to make a mess,
Rip out your heart; take its last beat,
Their evil desires will never take a back seat.

They spend their days laying in wait,
Waiting so that murder can seal your fate,
They show no mercy as you beg for your life,
They laugh out loud as they plunge in the knife.

You can’t spot a killer by their facial features,
They are like chameleons, such devious creatures,
To talk to they are just like you & me,
They don’t leave tell tale signs for you to see.

To take a peek inside a killers mind,
Would make you wish you had long ago gone blind,
They feel adrenalin when they seek out a new kill,
To see someone dying gives them such a thrill.

Ok, you've given me chills. This is excellent---especially the part about killers not being recognizable. Reminds me of what I've learned of satan. If he truly appeared ugly, he'd be easy to avoid, but he always look so inviting and sucks us in before changing to his own shape for the kill.
Good write.

Very graphic, but certainly does a good job of depicting evil in the world.

Good job, and a good write
