She shined in her dainty school uniform
Marie kept on tidying up her blue skirt
Avalon’s giddy laughs made her joyous
Her mother grasped her teeny hand and bolted out the door
Marie gently put Avalon on her lap,
She was twiddling her ebony curls between her graceful fingers
Avalon sweetly whispered seas of love into her mother’s ear
As she loved Avalon back with the weary heart she had
The car sped around uneven road,
Over deep holes it went
Until, the driver’s eyes landed upon the aged school
It’s vibrant sign read: Academy Of Seahaven
As Avalon stepped out, her black, buckled shoes made a tap,
She stood in awe, gazing at the gray, brick building
Marie ushered Avalon into the halls of the academy
They gleefully stopped in front of room 012
Kids flocked over to Avalon and kindly greeted her
Avalon overwhelmed, greeted them back properly
Her smile seemed to soothe scared kids
Soon Marie left, her child singing a little song
