All alone one starry night
I went out for a smoke
sitting there, eyes closed tight
with a heart that was broke.
Praying to the gods above
to save me once again
to send me my true love
I opened my eyes and said Amen.
A few moments later
talking to my best friend
my heart felt a patter
I knew my search had come to an end.
I've always felt a bond
from the moment we first met
He'll soon be my husband
no longer on the net.
Our love grows stronger daily
Our love heals all our scars
Our love is written in the stars.
