You can labor on for hours
A single minded passion
Give all of yourself
Nothing set to ration
Give your time and love
To find out what was true
Even when she hates
And couldn't care for you
Though it may be hurtful
For her to see the light
You've given all could
Those labors in the night
She'll tell you of her grace
Her gratitude so deep
Thank you for your work
That labor without sleep
You'll reveal in her laude
Accolade so high
Long to kiss her cheek
Never say goodbye
See the truth now,
Seeker, with your eyes
To know of her resentment
And feel that wretched lie
As she turns her coat
You'll see the hurt inside
She'll say she doesn't hate you
But she sure as hell will try!

Now this made me smile.
We women are a fickle lot, aren't we.
We don't mean to be. Must be part of our genetic makeup.
