Topic:
ambiguous
|
long shadows along Carriage House road,
children running on the streets.
a happy face,
and a sad stare.
a tree fell down right before their eyes,
it didn't make any sense.
is she crying?
he drove away after saying a short goodbye.
he does not know anything,
she kept telling herself.
the loud slap of a bass guitar
echoed through the 4th floor of the school building.
all the others panicked
while he and she spent an hour in the library.
she felt like a failure.
he felt so much doubt.
for a sad stare could have been a happy face,
and a short goodbye could have been a long embrace.
what ever happened to Love?
