That Four Letter Word

Contributed by ShadowsCloud on Thursday, 21st November 2002 @ 02:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Oh how that four letter word
can make you smile and fill you with joy,
then make you sad as it destroys your hopes and dreams.
That four letter word...
how it can send shivers down your spine,
only to turn around and burn you soul.
That four letter word...
can say so much when it goes unsaid,
or mean so little when spoken.
That four letter word...
can wrap you in warmth and hope,
or make you heart cold.
That fout letter word called LOVE
can mean so many things
or simply, nothing at all.

I really wish people wouldn't say it when they don't really believe they mean it!
But then you've said exactly this, and in much better style than I Candice!
A lovely poem well written, thankyou for posting this Candice. I shall read this one more than just this twice!

With love
Dean:-)

Dean, I am glad that you like it so much. I have had someone tell my that he loved me and then not even a month later my bestfriend saw him making out with some one else!!!! Needless to say I was extreamly angry.

A girlfriend of mine once told me she did the day after I saw her canoodling in the street with someone who was supposed to be my best friend!
So I can fully understand your anger at this Candice.

With love
Dean
