The passion so real
The love so right
But I am still alone tonight.
Why this way?
Our paths split
A life planned out
No longer needed.
Why not me?
Another start for myself
To find someone new
So I put one foot in front of the other
Why can’t I forget?
My heart longs
The pain excruciating
But still I hold on
