Here Is My Heart

I know you are bitter, and I know you are cold.
Please listen when I say this.
Please don't be hard on me, please try to understand.
What I'm about to say will change this situation forever.

I'm sorry for letting you go, I'm sorry for letting you down.
What I really want to say is I miss you more each day.
I can't lie or act like I don't care anymore.
I'm not strong enough to go on.
I don't expect you to listen I don't expect you to understand.
I just need to tell you this so I don't have to hide anymore.
I need you, your the only one who knows me.
I can't let go of you.
I'm still holding on.
I can't give up, or pick up the pieces.
I want to forget and leave this saddness..but I can't.
How long will this hurt me?...It feels like forever.
I need you to know I still have feelings, I need you to know I still care.
There is a love in me that will forever be for you.
I know you hate me, I know you have someone else.
So here's the honest truth...I'm still in love with you.
No matter what I say...I will always feel this way.
Again, I know this won't change a thing...but I just had to let you know.
So have a good life...just know that I still care, and each day that goes by..I still love you.
