marching like ants
in magnified sunlight
we are all hurrying to our deaths
i lit a cigarette in the midwest
and flicked it three towns over
to watch a city burn to the ground
and wash away in an undertow
when the world ends
i want to have a front row seat.

Just like me - I'll be sitting close by right then.
I once got attacked by a glue-sniffer, insisting that 'it was all about the 1's and the 0's' ' He also claimed to be the 'Voice of the Mysterons'.
Ah, streetlife . . .
Truly enjoyable read. Well done. |

Excellent!
And me having studied Binary, too. I'd go computationally figure that out, but I can't be ***** and I trust you anyways . . .
Well done.

Terrific! In it's briefness it encapsulates the don't give a damn attitude and outlook of the world's finality. |

I like this! It reminds me of a poem that I adore. The poem's appeal is rooted in the fact that it takes my brain out for a walk every time I read it. This... has that same sort of effect.
Nice done - and welcome to YPDC!
