Just another scar on my arm

Contributed by Nezenic on Monday, 15th November 2004 @ 02:36:06 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Crying and staring at these scars
Why did I cut my arm and carve?
And why will I continue this?
My life is not what I call bliss
Many problems, too many tears
Wishing for the sight of you, here
I'm happy if I close my eyes
So I can just break down and cry
Why are these feelings so damn strong?
It was not right, how was it wrong?
I sit here and stare at my scars
Crave to carve your name in my arm
Why did you have to waste my time?
I cannot sleep, I weep all night
Can't figure out, what did you do?
Do you think I'd do this to you?
You're my world, you're my life and thoughts
You're the only person I've sought
Hush, now, please, I don't want to cry
'Cause I'll be okay when I die
And after death where will I go?
To escape this feeling and grope?
Without you, life is meaningless
I failed, God put me to the test
Little angel, that's what you are
Just another scar on my arm
Pretty lady, my tears turn red
Color of my wrist when it bled
I'll be okay, soon I'll be gone
I still think I was never wrong
Pretty lady, shoot this gunshot
So that I can feel my life drop

Awsome write, I find scars of the body nothing compared to scars of the mind, and when the scars of the mind move themselves to the body like your poem describes, then you need to let it out, and keep your mind from scaring your body, loved this poem lots
