Found Your Flaw

Contributed by Red_October on Monday, 15th November 2004 @ 01:23:38 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

found your flaw, found your flaw, found your flaw
thought i would beg, thought i would plead, thought i would crawl
heart's too full for me, life's too short for me, love's too much for me
not enough, just a bite
not enough, do you feel slighted?
bright eyes, black hair, i found your flaw
your indecisive nature takes its toll
cancel my plans, reach for your hands, live with demands
fight for the night, hide from the light, i might not or i might
quick to dismiss in random cause
phantom decisions with no time to pause
hot and cold are insightful clues
don't push me or tell me what to do!
it's definitely not me, it's definitely you
acute awareness but no sense of sight
timing is everything, but that doesn't make it right
or wrong for that matter
or chaos begins
leaves us sleepless at separate ends
nothing here is set in stone
i might want you, but leave me alone

You have a way of bringing an event in a relationship---small or major---to life.
Excellent write.
