GOODBYE... SO LONG... I'M OUTTA HERE...

Goodbye... so long... maybe we'll meet again...?
Who knows?
It has become clear that neither I nor my poetry are wanted here
It has become clear that my voice has gotten lost... maybe even forgotten
Among the many voices of this site... some who are very highly opinionated
Maybe... it's just lost forever among the world's bleeding hearts?
Looking back on the 170 poems posted here and the 220 plus that have been written...
I wonder... if I really had a voice at all...
Or if I was just rambling on... and on...
Guess we'll never know...
It has become really clear to me... over the past several weeks...
None of you really care... what I have to say...
'Cause you all have an opinion on the subject anyway...
You know... the one thing my mama always taught me...
"If you can't say anything nice... then don't say anything at all!"
I'm gonna take a break from posting anything for awhile
Go PCS and listen in on another dial...
Yepperz... it's become very clear to me... that neither I nor my poetry are wanted here...
Maybe... I'll just go to my Palace Depression and commit suicide...
NO! NOT OF THE FLESH... but of the mind...
The heart... the words that surge within...
Then... to stay in a place... where I have no friends...
No offense to you... my poetry mom...
But right now... here is where I do not belong...
It's been made clear... this poet has had nothing to say...
Nothing that 's worth hearing... at least... to many on here... anyway...
As Jesus told His Twelve that He sent out...
*"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words,
when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet"
So I guess this is it...
I'm out the door... because you have all made it clear...
I don't belong here anymore...
OH... now... dry your eyes and your tears...
But have no fear... just...
Take heed of this little warning...
Just when you least expect it...
I may show up on your doorstep...
Once again...
(I salute you all... for the uncanny knack you have... for driving people away!)

Hello kidpoet_213. I just started posting on this site. And have read a couple for your writes. You are very gifted in the words you write they come from the heart. And tell of your life. Maybe you don't recive the comments that you would like. But with 170 poems. You have the heart of a poet. You able to share your thoughts and feelings. Some maybe dark but who cares it's your words of life you are putting out there. For the whole world to see. Keep on sharing. Keep on writing.

| Hmmmm. Tell me, do you write for you, or for the comments of others? It sounds like you need the approval of other people to validate your writing. I, too, get upset with the lack of acknowledgement for my feelings, but, they are my feelings, and I write them down for me. I choose to share them, but I still write for MY benefit. If you try that tack, maybe what others say will not sting quite as deeply. And maybe you are choosing to share with the wrong people. I hope you find them, and good luck. |

Awsome poem! Please don't leave. This is the first poem of yours I've read and it's amazing. Perfect vent. ^_^
