So Little Left of Your Heart

Contributed by CrimsonTears on Sunday, 14th November 2004 @ 11:26:02 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Have you ever had your heart broken so bad
The whole world could hear it shatter?
You sit there watching him
And nothing else seems to matter

Your bright blue eyes are filled with tears
But you can’t let him see
The pain and hurt held deep inside
So from the room you quickly flee

You know that your not ready
To let go of what you had
But the pain is tearing you apart
And your always so damn sad

Now he’s with your best friend
And she doesn’t seem to care
About the pain she causes you
Why does this have to be so unfair

Your screwing yourself over
Your refusing to move on
There’s just so little left of your heart
And soon it will be gone

Yeah, I know this feeling
I love him way too much
Id give absolutely anything
For just one more touch

great job...just a little word of incouragement from someone who was once in your shoes, it always comes back to the ones who cause the pain. so if your best friend has him. she/he is really no friend at all. and when it all goes sour for them who will they call?

My old boyfriend and I broke up and got back together three times before one of my best friends (the one girl who I turned to for help, comfort, and advice at this suicidal time in my life) lied to my face, went behind my back, and started dating him. They broke up a few months later, and he came running back to me...desperate, I suppose. He told me how much he missed me and that he'd fallen back in love with me; and as I'd never stopped loving him, I was esctatic. ... A week later he was dating another one of my friends. Now I'm not even bothering to try and mend my heart this time, and I'd kill for one last chance, too. Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I know the feeling, too. Sucks, huh?
