After all this time has passed
Memories fade and memories last
Nothing can make me ever forget
What you said that makes me regret
All my life and all I have ever done,
All life and everything anyone has done.
You've got the door open for me,
Holding open the gates to hell.
My heart would be the one to go
To leave me behind, a broken shell.
I bet you'd like to see me burn
But I'm not walking into those flames.
Watch me become what you were
And I'll watch you stay the same.
