Take my hand -
Slip your fingers, slim in shape,
'tween mine, my tense and callused grip
Grasping within a soft embrace
White petals asleep against my palm.
Take my hand -
With curving lip, with curving brow,
Curve your breath to soft your guise,
And blinking, lift your eyes to gaze
With gaze as calm as morning mist.
Take my hand -
Let loose the chains around your neck,
Set free your wings, arching back, and
Fly with me, your hand with mine;
Dream with me, your heart with mine.
