They say don't play with fire
They say that you'll get burned
But the day I found the matches
was the day the tables turned
My life was filled with fire
The flame was bright and hot
And while my body burns inside
My corpse with time begins to rot
They say don't play in water
They say it's drowning death
But the day my lungs were filled with you
Is the day I took my deepest breath
The face upon your picture
Swims across my eyes
I'm drowning in the smell of you
I can taste your bitter lies
They say don't play with poison
They say that you'll get sick
But taking it in small amounts
Is the thing that does the trick.
I'm addicted to your posion
I take it all the time
Addicted to the way it feels
When silent shivers run my spine
They say don't play with knives
They say that you will bleed
But razor steel can help you
If you have a deadly need
The knife you use to stab me
Pierces through the heart
I'm addicted to the pain of it
I beg for it to start
They say don't play with love
They say your heart will break
But loving you has only proved
To give me all that I can take
I'm addicted to your lying
I bathe in bloody rain
You give me all the pain i want,
I just might go insane.
