As The Doves Cry

As the dove lets out its last cry,
It is time for me to say my goodbyes,
It surrounds me with its soft, white wings,
Sends me into my eternal sleep as it sings.
She lifts me up way above the clouds,
Wraps me up inside a gentle shroud,
Carries my soul out of this world,
Making me a beautiful angel girl.
I begin to feel an inner peace,
This is the first time my pain has ceased,
Never before has my soul been rested,
For so long has it been tested.
All I feel now is an immense inner calm,
Feel like no-one can do me any harm,
I want to feel this way forever,
Let it go not now & not ever.
As I open my eyes all I see is a light,
I feel like someone has hold of me tight,
My heart has been filled with love,
As I fall asleep to the sound of the dove.

| Yes, they make a gentle coo coo ing sound. Sad write pix.. We feed doves and I always hope I'm not getting them fat for some hunter..lol |
