Bet No-one's Ever Made You So Sad

Contributed by pixie on Sunday, 14th November 2004 @ 06:29:08 AM in AEST
Topic: ApologyPoetry

I’ll bet no-one’s ever made you feel so sad,
Or that anyone else has made you fee so bad,
Treated you the way that I do,
Broke your heart & made you feel so blue.

I love you with all my heart, it’s not enough,
I thought I was strong, but it’s getting too tough,
I have already lost my battle & I can’t go on,
I really thought together is where we did belong.

To see the pain fall don your cheeks,
The utter sadness in your voice as you try to speak,
Makes me feel like you’d be better off without me,
If I were to die I would then set you free.

I look at your picture & feel so ashamed,
Knowing that behind your hurt I am the one to blame,
I shouldn’t hurt the one that I love,
I should treat you s a gift from up above.

Because that’s what you are Mark you are a gift,
& I have shoved you right down into the rift,
I am destroying a good man, who has done nothing but share,
His whole world with me by always being there.

How can you say that you still love me after all this?
I have taken our love deep into depressions mist,
I have tore apart someone whose heart is so loving & pure,
Oh why oh why can’t depression possess a cure.

This is interesting. I know you're writing it to your love, right now, but it's like seeing a relationship struggle from the inside out and in forward and reverse. Fascinating.

Oh! Pixie, this is so sad....

You sound so nice, despite your depression...Mark sees inside you, beyond the sad, see'e that you are truly lovely

A wonderful, emotional poem

After you share this with him. I think he will see all the love you have for him. He's a lucky man to have a woman so true with the gift of words. "GREAT WRITE". "pixie"
