Forever And A Day

Contributed by Tamara on Saturday, 13th November 2004 @ 11:42:31 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

My life would never be the same
Without you by my side
I don't know what I'd do
I'd probably run and hide
You bring something new to my world
Something beautiful and rare
You ignite something in me
Like a freshly lit flare
I don't know what it is
Maybe it's in your hypnotic eyes
Something so intriguing
That acts as a diguise
But when we are together- you and me
I don't know what stops me in my tracks
It's all a mystery
All I know is I love you
And things just seem so right
Whenever we're together
When you hold me through the night
The time we spend together
You always make me feel complete
When we are apart the thought of you
Makes my heart skip a beat
We certainly have a history
The rest of my life, only you I'll hold
There are so many more memories to come
Should our love story remain untold?
People say our love is so rare
Just like a shooting star
I really like that analogy
Because that's exactly what we are
So if someone asked how long I'd love you
Do you know what I would say?
I would answer- "Every moment of my life,
Forever and a day'
