The Mosaic of Life

Contributed by TwEeK on Saturday, 13th November 2004 @ 11:19:44 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

here i lay
tear stained
blood shed

bleeding for you
yearning for what has been left unsaid
my heart, it beats no longer.

i try to tell myself, those years are gone
and i will never have them back
scilence creeps, stillness seeps

my body cold
frozen in eternity, stuck in this flashback
long forgotten shame and deception

hath my life
shattered, insanity smiles coyly
like the broken bits of tile

dead eyes stare up into yours
my frayed soul to wander aimlessy
for your love to bloom, someones eternal

leave my soul to rest, move on.
for i am frozen in this mosaic
called life
