Hello Person-Goodbye People

Contributed by n0body on Friday, 12th November 2004 @ 10:30:09 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Hello person,
I have stray from my path,
but I'm to shy, scared and mad,
To ask you to guild me back to what I once had.

I can still here the words, the crisp laugh too,
But we were all killed, the day at the zoo.

They broke from their cages and tore at our chest.
My destroyed our minds, which they did best.

Then came the men with their black coats and eyes.
They walked through the town as every heart dies.

They brought their technology, and poisonous fumes,
And would store us alone in silent death rooms.

Then came the crow, with a caw that spoke death.
Warning that poison would be drawn from our breath.

Now comes the moon crashing down on our homes,
As everyone cries in low desperate moans.

We had no idea where it all came from,
Or that this is what we would become.

We would all die the day they are free.
So please, person...
Please wait for me.
