A book of words … a book of verse.
My friend lies dying...a saddened nurse.
What can one say at times like this?
To know your friend, you will surely miss.
One thinks of things, you both have done.
The laughing...the singing...and having fun!
Time has come and death is near.
To him you whisper...soft and clear.
"Enjoyed the times we had together...
the wind...the rain...the sunny weather."
The time has come and now we part.
You will always be...inside my heart!
