The rain is pouring down outside,
thumping and bumping
on its miraculous ride.
I watch the drops on the window
like tears falling down.
Ending there in a puddle
on the ground.
It's so peaceful
the sound of the rain
I pray to the spirits of the earth
it soon comes again.
