Desolate Bliss

Hearts float;
Like butterflies,
Soft and gentle,
Upon the breeze.
Skipping,
Among the stars,
Swirling,
Within the constellations;
Sipping up the Milky Way...
Drink...
Drank…
Drunk…
Whirling,
Spinning.
Dizzy.
So dizzy.
Beating fast.
Terribly fast.
Too fast.
Can’t catch up,
Falling behind.
It’s gone.
I’m empty.
Left hollow,
Watching,
As my heart…
Floats…
Away.
Like a butterfly.
Whispering;
Tender kisses,
Crooked smiles.
Leaving me,
Alone,
In desolate bliss.
