Angelic Traitors

Contributed by Pyrofungus on Friday, 12th November 2004 @ 11:52:25 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Feast upon my angelic wings
Prick your finger on the feathers tips
Blood drips down my wings
As I turn to see your face
White to black in seconds
Without pain
I turn to feast upon my inner child
Drawing her out as waste is done
Glaring at the angelic ones
From far beyond
I have switched sides
Look at my heart as it bleeds out
And turns cold
Feasting on its blood
I become so cold from the inside
Flesh slowly rots away
Just to grow back new in a day
We were the angelic ones
Wings and all…
We are the traitors…
From white to black
From warm to cold
From giving life to taking it
We are the angelic traitors
The ones who feast upon your blood
That steal your soul
Leaving you with no soul to rest
