FIELD OF DREAMS

Contributed by sweetangeluk on Friday, 12th November 2004 @ 07:54:19 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Love had taken his laughter away
Beside a field of buttercups he lay
Glowing embers had lost their spark
A field of dreams about to embark

Sweet fragrances wafted in the breeze
Taking in the beauty feeling at ease
Slowly drifting in and out of dreams
Life is never as picturesque as it seems

Remembers to well a perforated soul
Destroyed his aura a heart she stole
Among the field of gold reflections
A ray of hope shone giving directions

Songs that linger never sound the same
Souvenirs and tears beside a candle flame
Thoughts of the future memories of the past
Images linger in fields of dreams cast
