Not Opening Old Wounds

I have opened up my self to you

Risking opening old wounds

But you have made me strong

With your love I can go on

In this life and the next

With never needing rest

To live for you I can

Be myself and all I want

Your heart beats in my chest

And mine in yours

To you I bind my soul

So I could be made whole

I am never letting go

Of what I have for you

It is far too precious to me

I chose not to live without it

I chose not to live with out you

I am made to take it all

But if I lose you I will fall

And never be the same

I will never love the same

Or love the same way again

And no pain could be as hard on me
