FIELDS OF GREEN PROFIT

This song is about how America ruins the lives of farmers in South America who harvest coca leaves for a living. American troops invade their privately owned land and burn their crops that are not illegal in their country, crops which provide income for the family so their kids can eat and be clothed and attend school. Because Americans cant stop our own drug problems we ruin the lives of south American coca farmers and many have begun to form rebellions for they home, their culture and their family.

FIELDS OF GREEN PROFIT

Oh it’s a gas chamber we’re making
Ignorance causing culture to be forsaken
South of the boarder
Out of our interest
There hatred soon to be past to a generation of infants

Fill the air with herbicide
Its cultural genocide
Rot away the coca leaves
Burn away Puerto Asis

Farmers harvest rebellion.

Oh you sniff it up one more time
Federal America does not mind
They must pay because we can’t stop
Become the world cops
So we can take their land and sell it back to our citizens
Take their money and throw them in prisons.
Just one more lie
To fly one more time
AND WE’LL FILL THEIR AIR WITH HERBICIDE.
