As The Angels Weep

As the heavenly angels weep,
We can hear their cries in our sleep,
It is a beautiful sound so softly spoken,
Never a single note can ever be broken.
As you awake you walk over to the window,
Their cry carries such a gentle flow,
You feel yourself drifting into the sky,
All the while hearing their cry.
Your whole body begins to fall,
As you listen to their angelic call,
You float as if you were as light as air,
Not feeling like your body is really there.
You travel slowly towards a bright light,
You can see silhouettes dressed in white,
On their backs are the most delicate of wings,
You feel under a spell as you hear them sing.
Right before your eyes the angels dance,
All the while watching you’re in a sleepy trance,
All this beauty you feel it must be a dream,
You wonder are things really as perfect as they seem?

Lovely poem, Krissy. Sadly, I have never heard heavenly angel weep. But I have heard earthy angels weep and they are sounds I still hear in my head a times when reminded of those angels and the reasons they did weep. You have a beautiful heart, my sweet, keep it open.
