Put simply,
Or at least as simply as I can,
I love you.

This love is real,
It is true,
None of this fake, ignorant
Love
That really is just lust,
Love.
And even after my heart is stilled,
And no one believes in true love
And all speak of falsehoods,
I shall continue
To do so.
For I have taken to heart
What God's Word says
In 1 Corinthians chapter 13, verses 4-8 and 13,
And also 1 John chapter 4, verses 7-11.
My love for you is real,
And will never be taken away,
For love is God,
Is of God,
From God,
And we love because God first loved us,
And therefore we should love one another.
And how can anyone
Take that away?
And so,
Put as simply as I can,
Just know
I love you.
