Catalyst

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Youth is wasted on the young
Each death, another song unsung
The silence bears our secrets well
A thread of hope too thin to tell

The fears we guard so no one knows
The pain we feel but, no one shows
The graves we dig to pay our debts
The times we live for our regrets

The truth we try so hard to hide
The world in which we can't confide
The faith we lost when first we fell
Transcending hope, we ran to hell

Smooth flow and rhymes. Well written. It definitely fits the category of "emotional poetry." The matters which you touch upon are so very true. It's quite sad that the world works like this. =

I picked this to read because of the title. I really need one right now. "The world in which we can't confide" All too true. *sighs* This was really meaningful. Blessings.
