Christmas Eve

All over the window panes are icy frost
That left beautiful patterns, crissed&crossed
While in our house, the tall Christmas tree
Is decorated nice and festively
With tiny, bright dots of colored light
That snuggle up this cold winter night
Carols, soft and slow
Playing on the radio
Sizziles and pops from the fire
Wilstle brightly with the choir
My brother is fast asleep
Dreaming on and dreaming deep.
When the fire makes him hot
He turns around to warm what's not
Laying next to him on the rug
Giving my sibling a soft, gentle hug
Tommarow's what I'm waiting for
But I tink I can wait a little more
