I woke up on New Year's Day
And found that none of the snow decayed
I looked around at the frozen pond
Thinking of the new snow being like a new sheet of paper to draw on.
The bears and his cubs are fast asleep
Waiting for the end of the winter's keep.
The bluejays in the trees
So puffed out they probobly can't see their knees.
Cawing out their boastful song
How they can survive the winter long.

That was kinda Frost-esque. I liked the image of non-decaying snow. Very cool. |

Agree with HL. It's "probably", but that's okay. Picturesque, and I am reading this during a snowstorm. Nice write! Cheers! |
