What I knew and What I know

Contributed by alyssakoren_03 on Wednesday, 10th November 2004 @ 05:00:43 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I knew we were ment to be
Like one perfect recipe
I knew we would be together
I knew if we tried it would be forever
I knew about your other girl
the one that made my emotions twirl
I knew you loved me more
But I had no idea what you had in store
I knew you turned to her
That made my head whirl
I knew about all your games
I knew they would cause me pain
I knew i had to try
To make you see with clearer eyes
I knew i could be hurt no more
I knew my heart would soon be sore
I knew if I tried I could be strong
I knew life would go on
I knew how you no longer feel for me
I knew what was but never could be
I knew a lot of things
but only one put me on my knees
I knew how I felt for you
I knew if I had you I would be true
I knew that if you gave me a chance you would see
I could be as special to you as you are to me
You had to give me up as sacrifice
and you left me here to pay the price
I know now what you never knew
I know now that I go on loving you..
