I smile when I’m happy
I frown when I’m sad
I look down when I’m blue
And look away when I’m mad

But I also look away
When I’m hurt and
Can’t feel my heart no longer

Also when I love you
And you say it to
But don’t show respect
For my feelings and problems too

Don’t you understand how I operate?
I thought you cared for me
I guess not, I was wrong
Sorry I’ll never happen twice again

I thought you really loved me
But not at first and surly not now
But sometime around the middle
And somewhere in my heart
I really wanted to love you back
But now you make it so hard
