I remember your handwriting
The way your words went down
Your dripping liquid words
Deep enough to drown
The Soul I saw behind your eyes
Was merely my own reflected
For behind your glassed brown eyes
No Soul can be detected
I made up this person you were
You were something in my mind
Now, when I look into that world
Your little life is left behind
Peering back to the child you stole
Wisdom shreds my misconceptions
I’ve learned to hate because of you
And trust my first impressions
I know now, I was naïve
To find anything but hate
In those empty words of beauty
Like you, they were faked

| peering back to the child you stole......awesome work....dark...descritive..emotions run the gamut....i don't know about you.....bu i can no longer find a place for that child to heal.....i hope you find yours..... |
