Tear Rimmed Eyes Lit by Moonlight

Contributed by brokensoul on Wednesday, 10th November 2004 @ 01:37:49 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

tear rimmed eyes lit by moonlight
the evening heavens boring down on her face
secrets leave her weeping
in her confined space

the moon speaks to her
while she waits silently and still
it reads into her soul
knows everything she came to feel

she falls to the ground
left in an unconcious state
her subconcious is spinning
awaiting her fate

the sleeping girl wakes
with tear rimmed eyes still lit by moonlight
hoping for a pull from her intuition
staring off into the night

I admire the way you have disguised a person with something in which is abiotic... beautiful personification and symbolism.

it's dark, yes, but it's lovely
