LoveRemembered

I look at you with uncertainty
As you lay peacefully asleep
I ask myself the dreaded question:
How long are you mine to keep?
When will you be taken from me?
Why do I have to let you go?
Can't we plead with the angels?
Why can't we tell them no?
I can not give you to them
For you are eternally mine
I will never give you up
You're mine 'til the end of time
So don't give up this battle
The one you have to fight
Please don't surrender
When you see the big white light
I need you to much here on earth
Please say you'll stay with me
Don't succumb to your illness
For I'll be left hollow and empty
