Watch out for my ice
it's hard and it's cold
You can chip at my heart
but I know you won't get far
You can tell by my numbing fingers
and when you kiss my blue lips
you'll notice the cold lingers
after I touch you with my fingertips
I leave a frozen impression
an icicle for my protection
but I'm not always on guard
and sometimes I get warm
If you can cause my ice to melt
I ask you to handle with care
my shell may have melted for you
but my heart is still aware

that's beautiful, great job. I felt the same way, and it was sad. but i feel like the ice has melted for me now. hearts are strange indeed. and pain causes things like that. *hugs* cizo |
