Welcome to My Life

Contributed by nightrider on Wednesday, 20th November 2002 @ 02:30:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

the feelings swell,
deep inside me,
my eyes are blurry,
my heart aches.
no one cares,
about me now,
no one feels my pain.
there is not one person,
on this god-damned earth,
that can possibly know...
know who i am,
know what i feel,
know my emotions,
for i am full of confusion.
and if a person could feel that,
if a person could see inside of me,
they might know...
know my hurt, my pain,
know why i am not the same,
know how my mind never stops,
know how these questions constantly swirl.
but no, no one will ever know,
for i am destined to be alone, apart,
or so it seems,
i am so very different from the rest,
i dont fit in anywhere.
so, welcome to my life.

I know it's small comfort, but you fit in this community here very well .... even though we don't know your personal pain, we do care. I feel these feelings too, so although we may live a long way apart, I do know how you feel - so please don't feel so alone.

I really liked your poem - it touched a raw nerve with me (especially today). Thank you.

hey night rider you are not the only one who rides at night! Believe me your not alone there is always people who are classified as odd. I happen to be one of them, My poems too are about me and my world around me, I dont think my poem welcome is here but it starts off "Welcome to my world won't come inside?" It's a weird one if I do have it, it is welcome! I hope someone comes and helps you up on your feet, I need help standing up!
Always
Amy
