Your scars will heal
You look into the eyes above,
As a tear strolls down your cheek,
You wonder why they chose you.
It must be a mistake,
With a shock of pain,
You scream but it’s not heard.
A river of tears run down your face,
As you stand above the grave,
This is going too fast,
Slow down the pace.
Your scars will heal,
You have been through so much,
Don’t let people tell you how to deal,
They don’t understand the pain,
But through and through your scars will heal.
The pain is too much,
You can’t eat, can’t sleep,
How should this end?
With a shot to the head,
A note on your bed,
Or a rope around your neck,
All the pain will end
They said they loved you,
But your friend told you different,
They said they were together,
On that night you lay alone,
You don’t know if you should laugh or cry,
Instead you steer into darkness,
Leaving the light far behind you
No matter what you do,
There will always be pain,
So keep your head up,
And always remember,
In time your scars will heal.

theres a very good and meaningful message in this poem.
its sad but at the end theres a spark of hope. beautiful poem yet again. great write.

wow this is an amazing write.. I think everyone can relate to this at some point.. this is very meaningful and sends a powerful messege .. awesome job

"VERY MOVING POEM" I my self have many scars and scars do heal in time. But I was able to find some that actully understood my pain and help take away my scars. I enjoyed your write, It's sad but has a message Thanks for sharing. "Deathly_Rose"

Hello
The first two stanzas where my favorite (though the whole thing was great) but The line 'as a tear strolls down your cheek' I really liked All your stuff is amazing I must say :) I truly love your stuff
