Brought to heighths of unforeseen delight
all at once she sees with sixth sight.
Left to be shelved upon the forest floor
no one arrives to just simply adore.
The colors alight and dance in her head
her mind is calm yet her body feels dead.
The trees spew forth their spindly arms
trapped in the base, struggling from harm.
Darkened rain falls upon the steps
evil stole the place where her soul was kept.
Shadows fall and puzzles click
as the memories fade then crudely stick.
Anger's repressed and pain is imbued
as the journey surrenders her righteous feud.
