In our private world,
I take her for journeys unimagined.
We fly through the sky like Pern's riders,
And dive into the sea like the Nautilus.
But we are only friends,
Even though I wish we were lovers.
She doesn't allow my feelings to interfere,
So I shut my mouth and enjoy our time.

I think it's so beautiful the way
you expressed how you felt here
and yet at the end you say how you
shut your mouth and why?? Because
of the way she doesn't allow your
feelings to interfere...so you are
silent and put your own feelings
aside for her, This is so touching
Thanks for sharing this one
I really enjoyed it
