A thing of beauty,
a miraculous sight,
wasn't there,
last daylight
Sprouted,
from good earth,
nestled,
in a sea of green,
wispy tendrils,
sparkling with,
morning dew,
branch to,
variegated wonders,
tilted toward,
sunlight
Crowned by a sight,
known to all,
appreciated by few,
colors radiant,
indescribable,
combinations,
of every rainbow hue,
penetrate deeply,
into fine,
stem goblets
A velvet cocoon,
omitting,
fragrance,
a sensory delight,
protecting treasure,
open only, when time,
is ripe
ejecting golden pods,
into the wind,
a guarantee,
this,
short lived beauty,
will appear again
Here only today,
gone tonight,
will arise again,
before next light
