GO AHEAD FREEZE???

SultryRose's Signatures

Heard on wetha 2 day
this week gonna get cold.
My lawn certainly needs
mowed.
Back's out so can't.

Go ahead freeze motha nature.
Want botha me dis time.
No need 2 mo mine.
Go ahead freeze
motha nature.

Now usually enjoy my
green lawn.
Dr. he say, nah unch uh,
don't.
So my green grass haunts.
But it won't long.

Grow grass grow, I say.
Pretty soon you'll die
Now that won't make me cry.
Pretty soon you'll be gone.

We have a saying here in Arkansas USA
If ya don't like the weather stick around awhile, it will change.

I like the way the words have a layed back tilt to them, makes the poem feel real, and Id do the same if it rains, then no mowing for me if it freezes only the fire will my body see.
Beautifully written write, enjoyed reading it.
