Drowning in Denial
I feel like time is racing past,
how long will my unproductive
life last?
Days go by with rapid pace,
as I get a few more wrinkles
in my face.
Have you ever been stuck
on repeat?Like a cd that's
scratched or the soap's
of the week?
For so many years now,
i've lost my self,
lost my goals,
lost my way,
Within a world of ,
False friends,
low self esteem,
Addiction and
Denial.
Denial can devoure
your very soul,
It will make you feel,
Powerless and infantile
and out of control.
Peer pressure is for losers
and peer's are 1/2 of the time,
the people who Infuse you,
Abuse you and
Confuse you...

| You always have a way with ripping out the emotions and putting them on display.....and thats the point of poetry... very very good job |
