First kiss of the morning
As you start out the day
The kiss of goodbye
Saying sorry can’t stay
The kiss of hello
That says sorry I'm late
The awkward kiss on the porch
That ends the first date
The kiss to a child
As they are tucked into bed
A kiss filled with warmth
Place so gently on the head
A childhood kiss
Makes one light on their feet
The kiss of new love
That has the heart skip a beat
A kiss from routine
It has little to say
The kiss goodnight
Putting end to the day
The kiss on a picture
Of a loved one afar
A kiss to the crowd
From one called a star
A kiss betweens friends
Meaning I’ll always be there
The kiss of departing
Saying please take care
Like every I love you
Every spoken goodbye
Make every kiss count
When they're gone you'll know why
